With this list you can check whether you keep your grey bag in the right conditions. The list is based on regulations adopted by all IRF member municipalities in 2021.
- The grey bag must be placed in a separate stand outside the house. The stand must be placed in a location that is visible from the road.
- The stand must be placed within 20 metres of a road accessible by car.
- There must only be one waste stand location at each property.
- The bag must be a grey IRF bag.
- The walking path to the stand must be clear, well-lit and even. When conditions are slippery and there is snow, the walking path must be cleared and safe to walk on.
- No sharply pointed items must be placed directly in the grey bag.
- Tie a knot on the small waste bags before you place them in the grey bag.
- The grey bag must not weight more than 20 kgs.
- The grey bag may not be filled above the line that runs across the bag at the top.
- Dogs or other animals must not be nuisances to the person collecting the waste bag.
Did you get 10 out of 10 correct? Then everything is fine. If not, please correct any shortcomings as soon as possible.
