What should you not flush down the toilet?

Only use the toilet to flush toilet paper and human waste. All other items may mess up the plumbing system and pollute the environment.

Examples of items that should never be flushed:

  • Dental floss
  • Cleaning cloths/Dry cleaning sponges
  • Paper napkins/wet wipes
  • Cotton buds
  • Condoms
  • Tampons/diapers

Items that are not supposed to be flushed may clog your toilet and cause big, as well as time consuming problems for IRF’s drain cleaning department.
